The SIG 2020 Work Safety Conference took place on May 28. Guan Wei, Vice President and Chief Finance Officer of SIG, attended the conference. Ma Haiyan, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairwoman of the Labor Union, hosted the conference. Also present were heads of SIG's departments, leaders of SIG's subsidiaries in charge of work safety and their office directors, as well as work safety staff of SIG's departments and subsidiaries.

The conference conveyed the spirit of the 2020 Work Safety & Fire Prevention Work Conference of the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and deployed the key work safety tasks of the SIG in the near term.

Guan raised requirements for work safety: Firstly, enhance understanding and stance, and stick to the bottom line of work safety. Prevent mental fatigue, fluke mind and the mentality of haste, further enhance political stance, raise risk awareness and perform safety responsibility. Secondly, conduct strict daily management and consolidate the foundation of work safety. Keep tightening control over sources of danger, strengthen potential safety hazard checks and value institutional construction. Lastly, strengthen publicity and education, and improve the capability of safety management. Further strengthen work safety warning and education, carry out emergency training and drills, and keep strengthening employee guidance.
