On the morning of April 28, 2020, Li Jun, Member of the Shanghai Municipal Financial Work Committee and Deputy Director General of the Shanghai Municipal Financial Regulatory Bureau, visited Shanghai Sci-tech Capital to find out its operation amid the epidemic, the implementation of its core fund service strategy, as well as its next-stage work focus and appeals.
Li fully recognized the achievements of Shanghai Sci-tech Capital in the last more than two years. He encouraged the company to firm up its strategic goal, focus on major supporting areas for the building of Shanghai Technology Innovation Center such as Zhangjiang, Lin'gang and G60 S&T Innovation Valley, deepen operations in Shanghai's key strategic emerging industries like IC, AI and biomedicine, support Shanghai in enhancing the functions of global resources allocation, technology innovation sourcing, high-end industry guidance and open hubs & portals, promote high-quality economic development, and make great contributions to the building of Shanghai into "five centers" and the advancement of three major strategic tasks.
Li introduced the significance of "30 Financial Articles", "Light of Pujiang" Action and other newly-released policies to the integrated development of Shanghai International Financial Center and Shanghai Technology Innovation Center. He encouraged Shanghai Sci-tech Capital to give play to the ecological system advantage and platform role of FOF, and guide sub funds and invested enterprises in seizing opportunities such as the STAR Market (Sci-tech Innovation Board) and the registration system, to access the capital market and help outstanding startup enterprises achieve leapfrogging development.
