"SAM 5th Anniversary Ceremony & Donation against Covid-19" took place on the morning of March 11, with the theme "Forge Ahead, Be Grateful, Make It Through".

March 11, 2020 marks the 5th anniversary of the founding of Shanghai SITICO Assets Management Co., Ltd. (SAM) that was split off from Shanghai Trust five years ago. Over the five years, SAM has built its organization and management structure, achieved one breakthrough after another, and steadily improved its independent business revenues year by year. This was also a special day. The Covid-19 outbreak swept across the country and raised global concerns at the beginning of the New Year. SAM donated the planned cost of the anniversary ceremony, including publicity fee and venue fee, to the Shanghai Charity Foundation for the Covid-19 fight, and all its employees followed suit to mark this special day.

In the event, the CPC General Branch, Administrative Department, Labor Union and CYL Branch of SAM jointly issued an initiative to all employees, requiring that they should lay equal emphasis on epidemic prevention and control and business operation, and advance business development in an orderly way; should enhance understanding, firm up the belief in winning and provide solid protection; and should take active part in donation and volunteer activities to support epidemic prevention and control.

The donation aroused all employees' initiative and enthusiasm, and showed SAM's sense of responsibility for repaying the society.
