Fight the Epidemic, Overcome Hardships: GP Capital and Its Invested Enterprises Perform Social Responsibility

Since the outbreak of Covid-19, GP Capital, as well as its subsidiaries and invested enterprises have paid close attention to epidemic development. GP Capital donated 2 million yuan to the Shanghai Charity Foundation in association with its subsidiaries, to support the anti-epidemic fight. This move showed GP Capital's strong sense of social responsibility.

While conducting epidemic prevention and control, and deploying production operations, GP Capital's invested enterprises have given play to respective professional and resource advantages, to donate money and supplies, dispatch staff to the frontline of epidemic prevention and control, and join the anti-epidemic fight. The invested enterprises have performed social responsibility in the face of the white war, showing their sense of responsibility and patriotism.

Tianjin Sinobioway, a subsidiary of GP Capital-invested Sinobioway Medicine, provided antiviral recombinant interferon α-2b spray that had been included in the scope of temporary emergency procurement of anti-epidemic drugs in many areas.

GP Healthcare Capital-invested SinoVision put its mobile cabin CT machines to clinical use within the shortest time. TMiRob launched disinfecting robots and relevant anti-epidemic products, and deployed over 60 disinfecting robots in hospitals across Hubei and China. These robots are working endlessly all day.

GP Innovation-invested Righton Gene successfully developed a diagnostic reagent for Covid-19. The reagent, which uses China's innovative ddPCR method and is superior to other similar products in the market in sensitivity and specificity, can greatly increase the positive rate of testing. Tianyi Medical added a new mask production line that has been accepted by the government and gone into operation.

GP Innovation & Xincheng-invested Bangcle offered customers 24/7 network security services including online consultation, online deployment and online payment, and provided medical institutions and disease control centers registered in mainland China with free emergency mobile internet security services.

GP Health-invested GXS Techedu offered all-round online teaching solutions, and opened a free live video system to training agencies and primary and secondary schools across the country, to ensure normal teaching. HealAI launched a psychological assistance hotline for enterprises amid the epidemic, and provided 24-hour online and telephone psychological intervention to quarantined (high-risk) people in the special period through accurate psychological assessment and targeted counseling, to ensure their mental health. Allcure Medical gave full play to its technical advantage as a telemedicine platform, assisted medical institutions at all levels in the remote diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients, and provided remote consultation to confirmed and suspected patients with Covid-19, to assist in patient treatment.

Alibaba associated with GP Capital-invested Ant Financial set up a medical supply fund worth 1 billion yuan, to purchase medical supplies from home and abroad and donate them to Wuhan's medical institutions, and worked with Hema, Ele and other brands under Alibaba to ensure the supply of daily necessities to Wuhan and hot meals for Wuhan people and medical workers. AliPay under Ant Financial set up a "health security fund" to provide an amount ranging from 100,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan to medical workers infected with Covid-19 in the anti-epidemic fight. Suning Finance allocated a fund of 8 billion yuan, to support manufacturers, service providers and supplies in industries related to the people's life amid epidemic prevention and control such as medicare and health, cereal & oil food, fruit, vegetable and fresh foodstuff, FMCG and logistics transport. Qianxun SI opened its "Anti-epidemic Drone Platform" to the country, to improve supply-demand matching efficiency in anti-epidemic drone operations and deploy drones to spray disinfectant and patrol in places needing disinfecting.

GP Consumer-invested Lianlian Pay launched the "Overseas Aid" charity action through its cross-border e-commerce service online trade platform, to deliver over 2.5 million items (sets) of anti-epidemic supplies donated by overseas Chinese, including medical masks, protective suits, gloves and goggles, to areas hit hard by the epidemic, for free or at low prices. Hangzhou Gene Era Biotech donated its best products to the biomedical industry to support the anti-epidemic fight.

GP Xincheng-invested Rong Cloud gave play to its technical advantage in IM and real-time audio-video communication cloud service, to donate online IM and real-time audio-video services in medical scenarios.

GP Xinpeng-invested ObiO swiftly established a 19-member Covid-19 vaccine R&D team, employed its capabilities of DNA plasma recombination, virus preparation and pilot scale production of relevant products, and went all out to advance the R&D and declaration of Covid-19 vaccines.

GP Capital & Xincheng-invested China UnionPay donated 15 million yuan to set up an anti-epidemic aid fund; Quick Pass App promptly launched a convenient donation channel; China UnionPay granted key epidemic-affected areas preferences such as cash withdrawal fee reduction and exemption, and consumption service charge reduction.

GP Capital & Xincheng-invested Bilibili donated 10 million yuan to the Hubei Charity Federation, as well as 16,000 N95 masks to Wuhan Union Hospital and Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College of HUST.

GP Xincheng-invested iSoftStone donated 10 million yuan to Wuhan and purchased supplies in association with its overseas branches; and fully exploit its capability of digital service to provide data support for national epidemic prevention and control deployment. Tetrachem donated 500,000 yuan to the Huangshi Charity Foundation.

GP Xinpeng-invested WPG donated 2 million yuan to support frontline medical workers and volunteers in fighting the epidemic, and sought channels to raise masks and other medical supplies in support of frontline epidemic prevention and treatment.

GP Hi-Tech Ronbay Technology donated 2 million to relevant charity institutions in Hubei. DST donated 500,000 yuan to the Han Hong Love Charity Foundation.

GP Innovation & Urban Development-invested Zhongchuang donated 1 million yuan to Pukou District, Nanjing.

GP Consumer-invested ZS Tech donated 300,000 yuan to charity institutions in Qingpu District, Shanghai.

GP Health Service-invested ZY Health, designated by Huoshenshan Hospital as a chronic disease management information system service provider, donated 100 OmniDrive units, 24 PAD units and relevant consumables for diagnosis and treatment management, launched a national free online inquiry platform serving over 100,000 inquirers a day, and solved the shortage of doctors and medicine for patients with chronic diseases through Ziyun Internet and e-prescribing. Shouyi Healthcare donated 3,500 N95/KF94 masks, 300 protective suits, 300 medical masks, 300 pairs of goggles, 94 barrels of hand-free sanitizer and 30,000 disposable medical gloves, as well as 300 protective shoe covers, 10 infrared thermometers and 10 protective suits to the Shunyi Emergency Supplies Reserve Center.

GP Health Service-invested SinoVision donated 64-layer high-end large-aperture CT devices, high-end post-processing workstations and imaging cloud systems worth 6 million yuan to the Central General Hospital of the PLA. Vinno donated portable ultrasonic equipment worth over 3 million yuan to Wuhan Jinyintan Hospital, Wuhan Third Hospital, Huanggang Central Hospital and Huangzhou People's Hospital. CardioCloud donated 30 KNX 12-lead ECG recorders to the Wuhan Municipal Health Commission and is preparing to make a second donation.

GP Capital-invested Changba promptly prepared 10,000 protective suits and delivered them to hospitals in Hubei Province.

GP Xinpeng & Consumer-invested New Tohkin donated "New Congee", "Ichi More" and other badly-needed supplies to medical workers of anti-epidemic hospitals and highway traffic police across the country, to ensure that those most respected people get sufficient nutrients.

The third-party warehousing & logistics sector of GP Health Service-invested Hua Kang Century donated and delivered over 100,000 protective gears for free; the company's after-sales service team supported hospital departments in operating normally all day; the company's engineering sector supported the construction of Huoshenshan and Leishenshan hospitals in Wuhan; and the company's medical device sector promptly delivered medical devices. Several hospitals under JHC, including Putuo Renji Hospital, Lanxi Ruikang Hospital, Nanxun Jiu’an Hospital, Changzhou Joy Hospital and Tongxiang Joy Hospital, frequently held epidemic prevention and control meetings, and took multiple measures to strengthen epidemic prevention and control. Bright Eye Hospital provided vehicles to transfer back-up supplies as required by the municipal government and health commission. GST promptly allocated and transferred medical supplies in stock, donated 2,000 N95 masks to experts and employees from Hubei in areas hit hard by the epidemic, as well as Hubei University of Chinese Medicine, and instructed that supplies be delivered to TCM hospitals, universities in partnership and affiliated hospitals in epidemic-affected areas. HDT Clinic made an official preventive TCM prescription for Chongqing to ensure the health of Chongqing people. Several employees of Chongqing BeauCare Clinics under BeauCare Clinics applied for joining the volunteer service team of the Yuzhong Health Commission; Shanghai Seoul Leaguer and Korea Seoul Leaguer under BeauCare Clinics donated 10 boxes of supplies including surgical tasks and protective suits to Wuhan in the name of BeauCare Clinics. A 9-member medical team of Yankuang New Journey General Hospital under New Journey and two medical teams of Jincheng General Hospital under New Journey with a total of 30 members rushed to the aid of Hubei. Yankuang New Journey General Hospital opened an online fever clinic to provide services such as online consultation, further consultation and drug buying; Dongying Honggang Hospital under New Journey promptly transferred 20,000 affordable masks to Dongying. Shougang Hospital under Shouyi Healthcare sent a 5-member medical team to the aid of Wuhan and a 15-member medical team to a designated hospital in Shijingshan to fight the epidemic. Shuigang General Hospital under Shouyi Healthcare sent 22 medical workers to fight the epidemic, including 2 to Wuhan. Shougang Guiyang Special Steel Co., Ltd. under Shouyi Healthcare undertook the management of quarantine hospitals for tourists from Hubei designated by the district government. Lianchi Hospital organized 84 volunteers and sent three teams with a total of 9 members to the frontline. As frontline anti-epidemic hospitals, Chongqing Bei’an Hospital, Jinyi Hospital, Shengjing Hospital, Kanghua Hospital and Erlang Hospital organized medical workers and anti-epidemic supplies, and undertook the management of fever clinics and quarantine points. Chen Xiaolong, Director of the Radiology Department, Shangrao BangEr Hospital under BangEr Orthopedic devoted himself to the frontline anti-epidemic fight. Jiangshan BangEr Orthopedic Hospital under BangEr Orthopedic sent 3 medical workers to the aid of the frontline. Dr. Luo Min, Chief Medical Officer of Dayisheng, headed for Wuhan to fight the epidemic.
