On December 23, Shanghai International Group (SIG) held a Party joint meeting to convey and learn the spirit of the 8th Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee.

Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG conveyed the spirit of the speeches of Secretary Li Qiang and Mayor Ying Yong at the plenary session, and introduced the content of the session.

The meeting stressed that SIG should seriously learn and comprehend the spirit of the 8th Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, unify thought and action on the decision and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, consciously plan and advance group work in an overall context; should deeply understand the new tasks and requirements of the plenary session, focus on serving the advancement of three new major tasks, the building of Shanghai into "five centers", the enhancement of "four functions" and the promotion of "four brands", find the right connection point, acting point and innovation point of group development, make new achievements, and achieve new results in promoting the high-quality development of SIG and serving national and municipal strategies; and should implement work such as production safety, petition-based stabilization and poverty support at the turn of the year and during the two holidays.

SIG's Party leaders and executives, as well as heads of SIG's departments and subsidiaries attended the meeting.
