On the morning of December 5, Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG met with a delegation led by Liu Ying, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Chairman of Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park Development Co., Ltd. (Zhangjiang Hi-Tech). The heads of the Department of Investment Management II of SIG and Shanghai Sci-tech Capital (SSC) were present.

Zhangjiang is the core support area for the building of Shanghai Sci-tech Innovation Center. In 2017, SIG initiated SSC in association with Zhangjiang Hi-Tech and other cornerstone investors. SSC has given play to its platform role as a market-oriented FOF to strongly support the growth of outstanding tech startups.

Looking into the future, the two sides carried out in-depth exchanges and reached consensus on the development of ZJ Science City, the building of a technology innovation ecosphere, the linkage of tech startup investment and credit, the construction of Yangtze River Delta Capital Market Service Base and the cooperation between Zhangjiang Hi-Tech and its funds. In the future, the two sides will further strengthen business connections in key industrial fields such as IC, AI and biomedicine, jointly make greater contributions to serving Shanghai's three new major tasks and supporting the building of Shanghai Sci-tech Innovation Center.
