To learn, publicize and implement the spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee in depth, Shanghai International Group (SIG) organized a collective study of the Central Group of the CPC SIG Committee. At the group's invitation, Prof. Liu Jingbei, Member of the Presentation Group of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee on "Learning and Implementing the Spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee" and Vice President of China Executive Leadership Academy Pudong, gave a lecture on the spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, hosted the lecture. Present were SIG's Party leaders and executives, executives of SIG's headquarters and subsidiaries above the assistant level, secretaries of SIG's grass-roots (general) Party branches and employees of SIG's headquarters.

Under the theme of "sticking to and improving the socialist system with Chinese characteristics, and advancing the modernization of the national governance system and capability", Liu interpreted the spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee comprehensively and thoroughly, and expounded the great significance of the session, the significant advantage of the socialist system with Chinese characteristics and the national governance system, as well as the several requirements, objective and key tasks and measures set in the Decision adopted at the meeting.

Yu stressed that learning, publicizing and implementing the spirit of the 4th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee is a major political task at present and for a period to come. SIG's Party organizations at all levels should organize executives and Party members to implement the spirit in various forms, integrate learning the spirit with learning and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his visit to Shanghai and his keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 2nd China International Import Expo, with studying and planning next-year tasks and with working out SIG's new-round three-year action plan, implement the requirements of Secretary Li Qiang's "five deep understandings", bear "two overall situations" in mind, stick to "four work bases", practically arm brains, guide practice and advance work with the spirit of the meeting, and accomplish the high-quality development of SIG with great strength and more practical measures.
