Ode to 70 years of success, one dream for the new era. On October 26, 2019 SIG Sports Meet took place at Yangpu Stadium. With the largest scale and most participants within SIG ever, it brought together over 400 employees from the SIG system. All leaders were present to cheer for the athletes and share the fun of sports.

2019 SIG Sports Meet was themed by "70th Anniversary of PRC, New Page of SIG". At the opening ceremony, four teams from SIG, SSAM, SIGAM and SITICO appeared in unison and high spirits.

The four teams competed in four events: Broadcast Exercises, Link for a New Page, Towards a New Era and Column Building. On the field, the athletes from the SIG system went all out and strove for the best to interpret the infinite power of unity and display the infinite charm of sports. The athletes, who had achieved brilliant results in the basketball and badminton matches this year, presented spectacular demonstration matches to the audience, arousing bursts of applause by their superb skills.

Since this July, SIG's sports events such as basketball, badminton, table tennis, chess & card and health have taken place successively. With the conclusion of 2019 SIG Sports Meet, all events have been wrapped up. Hundreds of executives and employees took active part in the events. The events set off a sports fever among employees, promoted exchanges and integration between all enterprises in the SIG system, and built harmonious and positive teamwork spirit. SIG will stick to high positions, serve the overall interests, focus on two primary businesses: state-owned capital operation and investment management, assist in the requirements of the pilot regulation of financial holding companies, show its responsibility for initiatively serving national strategies and Shanghai's economic and social development, and make more positive contributions to the building of Shanghai into "five centers", the promotion of "four brands" and the advancement of three major tasks.
