Hosted by Shanghai International Group (SIG), organized by Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. (SSAM), "SIG Runs with the Motherland" 2019 SIG Health Run kicked off outside Century Park on the morning of October 13. Present were Fu Fan, President of SIG; Wu Jun, Secretary for the Discipline Inspection Commission; Zhong Maojun, Chief Operation Officer of SIG; Ma Haiyan, Chairwoman of the Labor Union of SIG; Chen Zhenpeng, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and other leaders of SIG. Nearly 200 runners from SIG's departments, subsidiaries and fund companies participated in the run.
Divided into three individual and team events: 5km health run, team orienteering and fitness walking, the event is a competition of speed and teamwork. As the starting pistol was fired, the runners in the 5km men's category and women's category rushed out, raced each other, competed in stamina, skills and willpower, fought hard with sweat, cheer each other and forged forward. The team orienteering featured SIG's culture and conveyed SIG's spirit in forms such as cultural jigsaw and quiz, in which the runners raced against time, arousing bursts of cheer and applause from spectators.
After over an hour of intense and breathtaking competition, 2019 SIG Health Run was wrapped up. The event showed the positive and dynamic look of the staff in the SIG system, brought SIG people together and implanted positive sportsmanship into their hearts. Healthy, confident and dynamic SIG people will push forward SIG's reform and innovation development with higher working enthusiasm and fighting spirit.
