On the morning of August 20, Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; and Fu Fan, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG met with Party Secretary and Chairman Zheng Yang, Deputy Party Secretary and Disciplinary Secretary Chen Zheng'an and Vice President Pan Weidong of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SPDB). Wu Jun, Secretary for the Discipline Inspection Commission of SIG, was present.

Zheng introduced the implementation of SPDB's new-round three-year action plan, SPDB's operation in the first half of this year and the progress of convertible bond issuance, and solicited opinions from SIG on carrying out education themed "Staying true to the mission" in depth.

Yu welcomed the delegation led by Zheng. As a municipal financial institution, SPDB has been deeply rooted in financial services and played a positive role in promoting the financial development of Shanghai, said he, pledging that SIG would continue to support its strategic development as a major shareholder of SPDB. He hoped that SPDB would further fully exert its role in financial service for the real economy, continue to intensify risk control and maintain high-quality development; and that the two sides would further strengthen exchanges in Party co-building, corporate culture building and other aspects while maintaining close cooperation. Fu hoped that the two sides would keep enhancing exchanges and cooperation, promote collaborative development, and further deepen exchanges and exploration in the risk control model of financial holding groups.
