Firstly, read originals, comprehend principles, and organize Party branch learning in an effective and orderly way. SIG's grass-roots Party organizations have taken learning and implementing Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, the spirit of the 19th CPC National Congress and the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches during his visit to Shanghai, the Selected Important Statements and the Learning Outline as the fundamental task, organized Party members to learn them, read originals and comprehend principles, and held discussions; have organized Party members to learn online and offline, visit the "Staying true to the mission" thematic education column of dj.sigchina.com and participate in the online quiz on the Outline of Learning Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. SIG's leaders have taken active part in exchanges organized by Party branches and grass-roots contact points, learned originals seriously and exchanged learning experience as ordinary Party members, given Party lessons to members of Party branches based on survey results and learning experience, aligned themselves with new ideas and requirements, sought gaps and problems, discussed methods and got their ideas into shape. Aiming at the problem that the must-learn knowledge for Party members and cadres is distributed in a few learning materials, the CPC Committee of Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. (SSAM) under SIG made the Pocket Book on Must-learn Knowledge for Party Members and Cadres in Political Learning, made clear the importance of the thematic education and compiled the must-learn knowledge into a book for future reference. The CPC Committee of SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. (SIGAM) under SIG forwarded and pushed several important reports and articles published by "Learning Power" APP and official WeChat accounts of mainstream media; the Party Branch of Fudan Hotel and the First Party Branch of SIGAM carried out joint group learning and exchange with a police ship force of China Coast Guard in pair, to enhance learning effects. In forms such as central group learning, individual self-learning, collective self-learning and workshop, with focus on the Constitution of the Communist Party of China, the Outline of Learning Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era and the Selected Important Statements of Xi Jinping on "Staying True to the Mission", the General Party Branch of Shanghai Sitico Assets Management Co., Ltd. (SAM) under SIG read originals and comprehended principles.

Secondly, learn the Constitution and the history of the Communist Party of China, enrich and renovate forms of thematic education. The grass-roots Party organizations of SIG have persistently taken ideal and belief education as the foundation for Party member education, made full use of resources of relevant sides in light of their actualities, and reviewed the mission by learning the Constitution and the history of the Communist Party of China in various forms. In mid-to-late June, the grass-roots Party branches organized all Party members to visit "Glory of the City-Exhibition Marking the 70th Anniversary of Shanghai's Liberation" Theme Exhibition at the Shanghai Exhibition Center in groups, which experienced the great cause and journey of building the motherland under the leadership of the Party. The Fourth Party Branch of the headquarters of the SIG organized a Party Day activity themed "Staying true to the mission, honoring great people and inheriting spirit", visited the former residence of Mao Zedong and Sihang Warehouse Museum of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, learned about Mao Zedong's work and life in Shanghai in 1924, as well as 800 warriors' heroic story of sacrificing their lives for the country at Sihang Warehouse, to boost their confidence in socialism with Chinese characteristics, systems, theories and culture. SIGAM's leaders visited the Memorial Hall of the 2nd CPC National Congress, carried out central group learning, and recalled the original purpose of joining the Party, to further firm up the lofty communist ideal; the Party Branch of SIG Building and the Party Branch of Crowne Plaza Shanghai Xiayang Lake organized Party members to visit the former residence of Mao Zedong in Shanghai, to learn how Chairman Mao chose his way of life and became a staunch Marxist thus a revolutionary leader, and comprehend the firm ideal of the great leader. The General Party Branch of SAM visited the Museum of "Good Eighth Company on Nanjing Road", to learn the Good Eighth Company's fine tradition of maintaining intrinsic political quality and working hard; it also organized a "Political Birthday" activity & centralized learning themed "ideal and belief", and celebrated a "political birthday" for three Party members who joined the Party in the first half of this year, to recall the original purpose of joining the Party and express gratitude to the Party organization for its cultivation.

Based on respective responsibilities and work actualities, with the goal of motivating Party members to take responsibility, the grass-roots Party branches of SIG have aligned themselves with new requirements in the new era, enriched the carriers of Party spirit practice, performed the responsibility for the mission, and endeavored to integrate thematic education with joint learning and Party building, hot political topics and group development. Based on two learning and exchange platforms: "YDH" and "RZH", the Second Party Branch and Third Party Branch of SIGAM under SIG have exerted the advantage of resource integration through Party building, to improve their teams' research and investment capabilities, given play to Party members' role as pioneers during serving the three major tasks and advancing key projects, and effectively implemented SIGAM's strategy. The Party Branch of SIG Building joined hands with the Party Building Service Center and Shengping Neighborhood Committee of Nanjing West Road Sub-district, to organize a "Party Day" activity themed "Responsibility for garbage classification, joint efforts to create a beautiful building", and gave play to the pioneer and model role of Party building in leading the new environmental fad of domestic garbage classification. The General Party Branch of SAM organized all staff for a "Military Day" activity, to listen to an analysis of national security situation made by the people's armed college, and carried out joint learning with the shareholder Shanghai Jiushi (Group) Co., Ltd. to discuss exchanges and cooperation in such aspects as Party co-building and business development.
