Strengthen carriers and elaborately create a strong atmosphere. With the deepening of SIG's thematic education, the CPC SIG Committee has conducted elaborate planning, enriched carriers, maintained the intensity of publicity and guidance, and persistently created a strong atmosphere for thematic education; has given play to the role of the "thematic education" column in SIG's intranet as a main publicity channel and front, and focused on publicizing and reporting the latest work requirements of thematic education, important speeches, learning news and grass-roots news, to further set off a fever for thematic education publicity; has strengthened interaction and exchanges with Party members and cadres, regularly organized the online quiz on the Outline of Learning Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, constantly enhanced the learning enthusiasm and participation of Party members and cadres, and effectively tested the learning results of thematic education; and has issued thematic learning materials and books including Selected Regulations of the CPC, guided SIG's leaders, Party members and cadres to teach themselves, and produced the "strongest sound" for thematic education through online and offline linkage.
Grasp key points and set an example. Since the beginning of thematic education, SIG's leaders have persistently taken learning and improvement as an important basis, set an example for early and deep learning, learned the Outline of Learning Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Selected Important Statements of Xi Jinping on "Staying True to the Mission" and the spirit of Xi's recent important speeches. On June 24 and July 4, the Central Group of the CPC SIG Committee held discussions on "How to promote the high-quality development of SIG with the new development concept" and "How to further fortify ideals and beliefs and take responsibility". The Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee made comments to further promote the deep integration of thematic education with SIG's central work. On July 1, all leaders of SIG visited the Memorial Site of the 1st National Congress of the Communist Party of China, to review the ceremony of oath taking and the goal of Party building. Driven by SIG's leaders, CPC committees of SIG's subsidiaries have followed suite in light of actualities: the CPC Committee of Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. under SIG visited the Thematic Exhibition Marking the 70th Anniversary of Shanghai's Liberation and the Memorial Site of the 4th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, and held central group discussions with focus on the subjects; the CPC Committee of SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. learned General Secretary Xi's important statement on "preventing and resolving major risks" and the spirit of relevant meetings of the Standing Committee of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, and held discussions in light of its actualities. the General Party Branch of Shanghai SITICO Assets Management Co., Ltd. issued learning materials to leaders and all Party members, and organized the collective learning of the 30 Lessons of Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era twice a week. SIG has created a favorable learning atmosphere of upper-lower linkage and step-by-step advancement for thematic education.
Address problems, conduct surveys and planning at the grass-roots level. According to the feedback of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee on tour guidance and the thematic education survey plan of SIG, the CPC SIG Committee has conducted elaborate deployment, comprehensively carried out leader and cadre surveys of the grass-roots level, and focused on addressing key and thorny problems affecting group development. From late June to mid-July, with focus on topics such as strategic planning, risk prevention, financial control, Party building innovation, talent incentive and mass organization building, all leaders of SIG have led 9 survey groups to conduct steady surveys of frontline entities such as group department, subsidiaries, fund companies, invested enterprises and labor union& league organizations. In ways such as seminar, interview and questionnaire, SIG has sought needs and advice from the grass-roots level, striven to integrate thematic education with group reform and development and stimulating the working passion of cadres and staff, made the survey a process of addressing problems, made up deficiencies and created a new prospect, and achieved solid results in thematic education.
Pool strength, and organize Party lectures, learning and exchanges. To further strengthen theoretical learning, fortify ideals and beliefs, and pool strength for development, according to SIG's unified arrangement for thematic education, on the basis of learning and surveys, SIG's leaders have visited grass-roots contact points and corresponding Party branches, to communicate with grass-roots and branch Party members on learning Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics, and give Party lectures to grass-roots cadres and staff. To date four group leaders have visited grass-roots contact points and corresponding Party branches, to participate in collective learning, share learning experience and make communication; two group leaders have given Party lectures entitled "Comprehensively Carry out Thematic Education, Give Play to the Guiding Role of State-owned Assets" and "Learn Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, Serve as Good Cadres of State-owned Enterprises in a New Era" to staff of subsidiaries and grass-roots and branch Party members. Leaders of CPC committees of SIG's subsidiaries have also given Party lectures to all Party members of SIG through the "July 1" Party Day thematic activity. Through learning, exchanges and Party lectures, SIG has practically unified thought and action on Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era.
