To celebrate the 98th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) and carry out education themed "Staying true to the mission", according to the schedule of the CPC Center Group of Shanghai International Group (SIG), on the morning of July 1, SIG's Party leaders paid a visit to the site of the 1st CPC National Congress with great reverence. They received revolutionary traditional education by reviewing the history of the Party and the oath to join the Party.
The site of the 1st CPC National Congress at 76 Xingye Road is the birthplace of the CPC, the eternal spiritual home of CPC members, as well as the starting point at which we will forge ahead with our mission in mind. At the oath-taking hall of the memorial, SIG's Party leaders took a solemn oath before the Party flag to fortify their ideal and belief of fighting for the cause of communism all their lives.
SIG's Party leaders watched Great Start-Exhibition on Historical Displays of the Founding of the Communist Party of China and a short video-Pursuit of Dream, to learn about the historical background and process of the founding of the CPC, and comprehend the important political connotation of the visit of members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee led by General Secretary Xi Jinping to the site of the 1st CPC National Congress.
The visit to the site of the 1st CPC National Congress and the oath taking at the site is not only Party spirit education, but also ideological baptism. We should keep in mind the mission and belief of Communists, devote ourselves to thematic education, seriously implement the overall requirements of sticking to goals, shouldering the mission, seeking gaps and implementing work, ensure the implementation of decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, and promote the reform, innovation and high-quality development of SIG.
