According to the important spirit of the annual work safety work of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government and the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, to implement the Rules of Shanghai International Group Co., Ltd. for Implementing the System of Enterprise Leaders' Responsibility for Work Safety, and enhance enterprise leaders' "two responsibilities on one post", Guan Wei, Chief Finance Officer of SIG; and Ma Haiyan, Chairwoman of the Labor Union and Director of the Office (Board Office) of SIG conducted a survey on the work safety work of the SIG system in June 2019.
The leaders of SIG surveyed three key projects: the project of Shanghai International Wealth Center under SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. in progress, SIG Building and the building of Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd., listened to the reports of the persons in charge on the safety and progress of the projects under construction, as well as the safe operations and safety guarantee of the office buildings, inspected fire equipment, canteens and other key areas. SIG engaged a professional third-party testing institution for the first time to check the sites, find potential hazards and offer suggestions from a professional perspective, thereby providing strong support for SIG's safety management. The survey and work safety inspection will constantly consolidate the foundation for the SIG system to comprehensively implement work including work safety system construction, responsibility performance, risk control and emergency management, and better perform the subject responsibility for corporate work safety.
SIG's leaders required that aiming at the buildings, in-progress projects and other key projects of the SIG system, relevant sides should strictly perform the subject responsibility for work safety, strengthen supervision and management, pay attention to details, guard against danger, organize emergency drills and training, strive to normalize, institutionalize and standardize corporate work safety management, and constantly consolidate the foundation of work safety, to ensure the effects of work safety.
