From June 10 to 14, the second SIG training session on Party spirit for young cadres was held at the Party School of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee. With the conclusion of this session, SIG successfully completed its centralized training concerning Party spirit targeted at nearly 80 young cadres in SIG within the year.
In accordance with the requirement of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the SIG Party Committee has taken fully grasping and putting into practice the principles from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Speech in Shanghai as an important political task this year, for which it has made careful organization and planning, bringing a new wave of learning in the Group. The two training sessions around Party spirit education oriented at young cadres in SIG were held in mid-to-late March and mid-June respectively, for the purpose of better serving the central task under the theme. Leaders of SIG Party Committee have put great emphasis on the training. Yu Beihua, Party Secretary and Chairman of SIG, personally reviewed the training plan and course arrangement, while Fu Fan, Deputy Party Secretary and President of SIG, and Wu Jun, Party Committee Member and Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection of SIG, gave instructions and speeches for the trainees in succession.
During the centralized training, the young cadres systematically studied the principles from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Speech in Shanghai, the mission of the Communists, and the spirit of Shanghai’s reform and opening up, etc. through listening to reports, reading original works, making field visits, and having discussions and exchanges. Besides, they studied and discussed the key points and difficult points of the Party spirit education by combining theory with practice, and wrote reports and comments based on Party spirit analysis, while committing themselves to the baptism of Party spirit and enhancing the sense of responsibility and mission in performing duties.
In the closing speeches, the young cadres said that this training session enables them to grasp the principles from General Secretary Xi Jinping’s Important Speech in Shanghai in a more systematic way, have a deeper comprehension of the mission of the Communist Party of China, strengthen their confidence in driving forward Shanghai’s reform and opening up, and be more conscious in the thought and action of upholding the core position of General Secretary Xi Jinping. They will strive to transform the achievements of Party spirit education into innovative ideas and practical measures in work, thus contributing, with the vision and commitment, to the high-quality development of SIG.
