On the afternoon of May 16, the 11th Shanghai Biomedicine Investment and Financing Summit & Research Finding Presentation", hosted by Shanghai Sci-tech Capital in association with the Shanghai Center of Biomedicine Development and the Science & Technology Innovation Promotion Center of Pudong New Area, took place at the Shanghai International Convention Center. It is the second sci-tech forum held by Shanghai Sci-tech Capital in 2019.
With focus on financial services for biomedical SMEs and the effective transformation of technology achievements, the forum aimed to solve the financial difficulty of biomedical SMEs, build a platform for biomedical research institutes and enterprises to communicate with investors, release and promote outstanding biological research findings, thereby facilitating the effective matching between capital and the biomedical industry. The forum attracted biomedical VC funds like Lilly Asia Ventures, GP Medical Fund and BioTrack Capital, renowned securities brokers like Guotai Junan Securities, as well as banks, industrial groups, accounting firms and other institutions.
