On the afternoon of March 27, according to the unified arrangement of Shanghai for new-round rural comprehensive support, Shanghai International Group (SIG) and Situan Town, Fengxian District entered into an agreement on new-round rural comprehensive support, marking that the two sides will continue the fine tradition of the previous-round rural comprehensive support, and further advance rural comprehensive support efforts from 2018 to 2022.
At the meeting, Situan presented a silk banner to SIG in acknowledgment of its support over the five years. Zhang Hong, Deputy Party Secretary and Head of Situan Town introduced Situan's development in recent years. Gu Yaoming, Member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Fengxian District Committee and Deputy Head of Fengxian District noted that Fengxian has innovatively established "Baicun Company" through rural comprehensive support, achieved transformation from "blood transfusion" to "blood creation" and formed replicable and promotable experience. In the new-round support, Fengxian will continue to seek changes and develop innovatively to open a new path for rural comprehensive support.
Over the years, Situan has, according to the overall planning and arrangement of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, brought its subjective initiative into play, and worked innovatively and effectively, said Wu Jun, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Secretary for the Discipline Inspection Commission. In the new-round rural comprehensive support, the two sides will continue to follow the fine tradition, deepen cooperation and develop new cooperation channels according to the guideline, key objectives and specific tasks fixed in the framework agreement, to bring support work to a new level.
