On the morning of July 10th, Organization Department of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and Shanghai State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) held a Management-level Personnel Changes Meeting in SIG. Mr. Jin Xingming, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government, Secretary of the CPC Shanghai SASAC Committee, Director-General of Shanghai SASAC, Mr. Yu Beihua, Deputy Secretary-General of the Shanghai Municipal Government, Mrs. Leng Weiqing, Deputy Head of the Organization Department of the CPC Shanghai Committee, Mr. Jiang Yunfeng, member of the Organization Department of CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, heads of the Division of Corporate Cadres, comrades of the Division of Corporate Leader Management of the CPC Shanghai SASAC Committee and all SIG`s cadres managed by CPC SIG Committee.
The meeting was chaired by Comrade Jin Xingming. Comrade Jiang Yunfeng read the appointment and removal decision by CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee: Comrade Yu Beihua is appointed Secretary of CPC SIG Committee, and Comrade Shen Jun is relieved from the position of Secretary of CPC SIG Committee. Comrade Yu Beihua thanked for the trust of everyone and expressed that he will make the best effort in accordance with the spirit of the important speech made by General Secretary Xi and the relevant requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Central Committee on strengthening the party building work in state-owned enterprises, and earnestly give play to CPC`s role as leadership and political core in promoting the development of SIG.
Comrade Shen Jun, Chairman of SIG, representing the management team of SIG, welcomed Comrade Yu Beihua's joining to the work in SIG. He pointed out that the personnel change in the CPC SIG Committee comes from a thoughtful and serious decision made by the CPC Shanghai Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Government aiming to promote the development of Shanghai`s state-owned capital operation platform while enhancing SIG`s capability, which highlighted how CPC Shanghai Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Government have been concerning the building of SIG`s management team. All members of SIG fully agree to the decision and will steadfastly embrace it. At the current stage, SIG, following the unified arrangements of the Shanghai Municipal Government and CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and directions of the SASAC, is pushing forward its business in three aspects, namely, capital operation, investment management and the development of financial factor market. For the next phase, SIG will keep on fulfilling its duties, constantly deepening the reform of state-owned assets and state-owned enterprises, exploring innovations in systems and mechanisms, keep its development as sustainable, stable and outstanding, living up to the expectation of the Shanghai Municipal Government and CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee.
Comrade Leng Weiqing introduced the basic background of Comrade Yu Beihua and fully affirmed the achievements of SIG under the leadership of Comrade Shen Jun in recent years. She pointed out that SIG is one of the two major state-owned capital operation platforms in Shanghai. The CPC Shanghai Committee and the Shanghai Municipal Government attach great importance to the reform and development of SIG and building of SIG`s management team. It is hoped that memebers of SIG`s management will, as always, enhance its cohesion and effectiveness, maintain its sustainable, steady and scientific development, promoting SIG`s various undertakings to a new level!
Finally, Comrade Jin Xingming made an important speech. He noted that the CPC SIG Committee of the SIG should conscientiously carry out Comrade Han Zheng`s requirements on the reform work of the state-owned enterprises in the 11th Party Congress of Shanghai, and Comrade Ying Yong's requirements on "four optimizations", bearing in mind the spirit of National Party-building Work Meeting, insist on strict self-discipline with the party, deepening party building work in enterprises, safeguarding SIG`s advancement in its reform, innovation and development.
