Vice Mayor Zhang Wei Visits SIG

On the afternoon of January 29, Zhang Wei, Vice Mayor of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, visited Shanghai International Group (SIG). After visiting the historical gallery of SIG, he convened a meeting to listen to a report on the reform and development of SIG. Zhou Ya, Deputy Secretary General and Director of the General Office of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, accompanied Zhang for the visit.

Zhang spoke highly of SIG's long-term, significant contributions to serving the reform of state capital and state-owned enterprises, as well as urban economic and social development with a focus on implementing major national and municipal strategies. As a state capital platform, SIG with a long history and abundant deposits has played a significant role in the historical process of the reform and opening-up of Shanghai. He hoped that SIG would further leverage its advantage as a state capital platform at the next stage, plan and consider its work in the overall context of the reform and development of state capital and state-owned enterprises in Shanghai, make greater contributions to improving the state assets management system, optimizing the layout of state capital, strengthening, optimizing and expanding state capital, further promote industry-finance integration, stick to market orientation, press ahead with the deployment of industrial funds and fintech, and foster professional competence in market competition, thereby better serving the economic and social development of Shanghai.
