To implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statements on and instructions in work safety, as well as the relevant work requirements of the CPC Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission of the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SHSASAC), the SIG 2022 Work Safety Meeting was held on March 7. Guan Wei, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Vice President of SIG; and Ma Haiyan, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Director of the Department of Administration of SIG attended the meeting. Also present were heads and safety supervisors of SIG's departments, as well as leaders in charge of work safety and heads of safety departments at relevant entities.

The meeting conveyed the spirit of the 2022 Work Safety & Fire Prevention Work Conference of SHSASAC, commended SIG's results in ensuring the performance of the primary responsibility of work safety, consolidating the foundation of the work safety system, implementing risk prevention measures and bolstering the defensive line against COVID-19, and arranged the key work of the SIG system in 2021. Based on their facts, Shanghai State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd. and SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. delivered speeches on the performance of work safety, the development of the coordinated work mechanism and COVID-19 control.

The meeting stressed that we should soberly realize the paramount importance of work safety, firmly establish the awareness of work safety and ensure the implementation of relevant measures. First, we should improve and implement the system of work safety responsibility, conduct safety management level by level, and advance all-staff, full-process and all-round safety responsibility management; second, we should put a good end to the three-year action for work safety rectification, conduct comprehensive management of fire safety, continue to advance the development of "7+1 firewalls", and improve the dual prevention mechanism of classified risk control and potential hazard identification and elimination; third, we should strictly implement the 24-hour duty attendance system, and be well prepared to fight typhoons and floods, to better cope with extreme weather and major disasters; fourth, we should maintain regular COVID-19 prevention and control, take solid and meticulous control measures, and advance the vaccination of COVID-19 booster shots; fifth, we should strengthen safety education and training, and organize various training activities, so as to further improve the safety awareness and emergency disposal capacity of all staff, ensure that the work safety situation of SIG is stable and controllable, and meet the 20th CPC National Congress and the 12th Shanghai Municipal Party Congress by action.
