Shanghai has recently seen the resurgence of COVID-19, and the situation of COVID-19 remains severe and complex. To perform its responsibility as a state-owned enterprise, and protect the life and health of executives and staff, SIG firmly implemented Shanghai's overall requirements for COVID-19 prevention and control, as well as the arrangements of the CPC Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission of the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SHSASAC), under the work principle of "prevention priority, joint prevention and control, timely disposal", SIG has taken strict measures to tighten COVID-10 control.
Conducting elaborate organization and going all out to build a solid defensive line against COVID-19
Under the leadership of the Leading Group of Shanghai International Group (SIG) on COVID-19 Prevention and Control, SIG has acted quickly at the earliest possible time by tightening COVID-19 prevention and control. Guided by the idea of coordinated efforts, key leaders of SIG have directed work on the frontline, conducted overall planning and coordination, and convened meetings to arrange the prevention and control work; SIG's headquarters and subsidiaries have paid close attention to the latest on COVID-19 prevention and control, worked out corresponding emergency plans based on their facts, and implemented prevention and control measures in such aspects as daily management, logistics support and emergency disposal. All prevention and control personnel stuck to the frontline, performed respective duties, implemented work such as mobile checks and health monitoring, and fulfilled prevention and control tasks under the system of "horizontal coordination and horizontal integration".
Taking strong actions to tighten COVID-19 control in four aspects
SIG has been soberly aware of the complex and severe situation of COVID-19 prevention and control, and tightened control in four aspects: "personnel management, measure implementation, supplies support, coordination between COVID-19 prevention and business operation", thereby weaving a tight prevention and control network.
First, tightening control over sources of COVID-19 prevention
Based on the new requirements of SHSASAC, SIG has avoided unnecessary gatherings and cross-region & system activities, and required staff not to leave Shanghai if unnecessary. SIG has established an effective pre-warning and monitoring mechanism, conducted routine monitoring of the health status of staff, and updated results of checks on a daily basis. SIG has guided executives and staff subject to enclosed management in supporting and cooperating in local COVID-19 prevention and control, tracked and reported their information.
Second, tightening control over the implementation of prevention and control measures
SIG has accurately grasped the key points of COVID-19 prevention and control with focus on key fields such as commercial buildings, hotels and projects in progress. SIG has continued to strengthen office building entry & exit management, and fulfilled work such as information registration, temperature measurement and health code check. SIG has disinfected and ventilated office areas, and conducted safety management of elevators and other enclosed environments. SIG has urged property companies, restaurants and other office building service agencies to monitor the health of their employees, and establish a communication and reporting mechanism.
Third, tightening control over supplies support
SIG has made full emergency preparation, intensified the storage of supplies for COVID-19 prevention and control, checked all supplies, and made up deficiencies in light of actualities. Based on the requirements of the Leading Group of SIG on COVID-19 Prevention and Control for preferentially delivering supplies to window service agencies, the grass-roots level and on-post staff, SIG has distributed supplies to its subsidiaries to provide strong guarantee for COVID-19 prevention and control.
Fourth, tightening control over coordination between COVID-19 prevention and business operation
According to the new situation and requirements of COVID-19 prevention and control, SIG has coordinated and balanced the relationship between COVID-19 control and business development, requiring that staff and work should be arranged for key posts, staff should carry mobile office devices if conditions permit, subsidiaries should provide support for telecommunicating, and job rotation schemes should be worked out for required work, so as to push forward business development in an orderly manner on the premise of ensuring the health and safety of executives and staff.
Passing the warmth and power of COVID-19 prevention and control
"Soft services" are indispensable during the "strict implementation" of measures for COVID-19 prevention and control. SIG has shown great concern for staff subject to centralized quarantine, home quarantine and community enclosed management, found out their needs and thoughts, and solved their practical difficulties. SIG has urged staff to protect themselves by keeping good hygienic habits, wearing masks, keeping safe social distance, covering mouths when coughing or sneezing, washing hands frequently and keeping windows open.
At the important stage of the current round of COVID-19 prevention and control, under the leadership of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, as well as the CPC Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission of SHSASAC, SIG will maintain strict, serious, meticulous, pragmatic, solid and efficient work style, further enhance the sense of responsibility, and go all out for COVID-19 prevention and control, so as to build a solid wall protecting the life safety of staff.
