Shanghai has recently seen the worsening of COVID-19 and the intensification of COVID-19 prevention and control. Based on the requirements of the country and Shanghai for COVID-19 prevention and control, many communities have been put under closed-loop management in an instant. Some League members of SIG in areas subject to closed-loop management immediately signed up with community neighborhood committees as community volunteers for COVID-19 prevention and control.

After his community was put under closed-loop management, Zhang Cheng, a League member from the Department of Investment Management I of SIG, joined community management at the earliest possible time while working from home. As a key community volunteer, he assisted the neighborhood committee in studying out a community service scheme, participated in volunteer management, and devoted himself to the collection and distribution of express parcels.

After his community was locked down, Wang Ruohao, a League member from the Department of Risk Management and Compliance of SIG, signed up as a volunteer for the floor where he lived together with his newly-married wife. According to the unified arrangement of the community, they duly informed owners and tenants of the time and requirements of nucleic acid testing, and guided them in taking tests, to ensure the orderliness of testing. Two days of laborious work did not affect their mood, contrarily they jokingly said they hand spent the most beautiful White Day together in diligent work.

"Fear no hardships, assume heavy responsibility, and let the flower of youth bloom where you are needed most by the Party and the people." With General Secretary Xi Jinping's ardent hope for the youth in mind, SIG's League members are demonstrating the splendor of SIG's young staff and shouldering the responsibility of the young generation by action.
