Shanghai International Group (SIG) held the 2022 Study Seminar on December 24, to learn and comprehend the spirit of the 6th Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee, as well as the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the CPC, implement the spirit of the 12th Plenary Session of the 11th CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, study the situation of internal and external development, fully grasp the opportunity of reform and development, and plan for reform and development in 2022. Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, hosted the seminar. Hu Youlian, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of SIG; and SIG's dispatched supervisors attended the seminar.

Members of SIG's leading body, Party leaders of SIG's subsidiaries, heads of SIG's departments, representatives of full-time directors and supervisors, the Office of the CPC SIG Committee and the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office exchanged ideas on SIG's future development based on respective work.

The seminar noted that the year of 2022 is a critical year for the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan", as well as the concluding year for SIG's three-year action plan for strategic development. Guided by Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, SIG will adhere to the overall requirements of pursuing stability while ensuring stability, focus on the present and the future, grasp trends and laws, and speed up efforts to develop new advantages for high-quality development.

Facing the new development situation and requirements, with focus on serving major municipal strategies, SIG should further change ideas, make innovation, strengthen practice, advance and implement key work such as financial holding group building, investment and asset management capacity improvement, state-owned capital operation platform development and grass-roots Party organization building, continue to improve the capabilities of market-oriented and specialized management, work in high spirits, embark on a new development journey and meet the 20th CPC National Congress with outstanding results, the seminar stressed.
