SIFC Wins Silver Award-Commercial Architecture at Pro+ Award 2021

The winner list of Pro+ Award 2021 has recently been released. The project of Shanghai International Fortune Center (SIFC) owned by SIG Asset Management Co., Ltd. (SIGAM) under Shanghai International Group (SIG) won the Silver Award-Commercial Architecture.

Presented by domestic and foreign academic authorities, the Architectural Society of Shanghai China, AIA Shanghai and BRE China, Pro+ Award is a professional and benchmark award in the real estate industry. With a policy of "applicability, economy, green and aesthetics", it selects real estate projects with real commercial value, cultural value and social value from three dimensions: early-stage planning, post evaluation and full-process management. Pro+ Award 2021 received nearly 1,000 entries from countries and regions like China, the U.S., Hong Kong and Taiwan. In the commercial architecture category, 1 project won the Platinum Award, 12 projects won the Gold Award and 38 projects won the Silver Award.

In spite of the limited land area, the project adopts a compact and efficient architectural layout, to build a stereoscopic and vertical multi-level public space. Via an eco-garden, it offers a green office experience, creates a distinctive new urban landmark and delivers a rich, efficient new space. The staggered placements of rectangular blocks and the crisp linear façade lines conjure up the image of a sailboat. The subtle curves on the podium roof evoke a sense of rhythm that resembles propelling sails, which augurs the prosperous development of customers. The project earned the Silver Award-Commercial Architecture for tallying with the policy of "applicability, economy, green and aesthetics" in terms of overall design and full-process management.
