SIG held a summary conference on Party history study and education on the afternoon of January 14, to convey, study and implement the spirit of the summary conferences of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SHSASAC) on Party history study and education, study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instruction and Secretary Li Qiang's speech, summarize SIG's outcomes of Party history study and education, and promote the regularization and institutionalization of Party history study and education. Present were members of SIG's leading body, the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of SIG, SIG's dispatched supervisors, executives of the CPC SIG Committee, as well as members of the leading groups of SIG and its subsidiaries on Party history study and education.

Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG, hosted the conference. Wu Jun, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee, reported Party history study and education in SIG. On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, the CPC SIG Committee took Party history study and education as a major political task, performed its primary responsibility, organized grass-roots Party committees and branches, as well as all Party members and League members to study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Mobilization Conference on Party History Study and Education, comprehensively implemented the work arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the Party Committee of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Shanghai, carried out various study and education activities based on the requirements of studying to understand truths, enhance integrity, promote morality and perform duties, organized special training for all Party members and League members, completed the project of "doing practical things for the people", and promoted the new-round reform, innovation and high-quality development of SIG. Through Party history study and education, SIG's Party members and League members have undergone full and profound political education, ideological refinement and spiritual baptism, enhanced their historical awareness and confidence, and achieved the goal of studying the Party's history, comprehending thoughts, doing practical things and opening up new prospects.

Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, raised requirements in four aspects with regard to studying and implementing the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instruction in Party history study and education, summarizing and applying SIG's outcomes of Party history study and education.

First, deepening Party history study and education, firmly establishing political awareness, and better arming ourselves with thoughts

We should take implementing Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era as our primary political task, persistently and earnestly study the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches and instructions, study the Resolution of the CPC Central Committee on the Major Achievements and Historical Experience of the Party over the Past Century, the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech at the Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the CPC and the spirit of his important speeches during his visit to Shanghai, guide Party members in further firming up their ideals and convictions, enhancing their political stance, and continuously transforming the spirit fostered in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC and Party history study and education into strong work impetus.

Second, integrating Party history study and education into daily life and carrying out the work on a regular basis to form a long-acting mechanism

We should take Party history study and education as an eternal topic of strengthening Party building, align our practices with the requirements of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, as well as the expectations and needs of SIG's executives and staff, keep searching and addressing deficiencies and problems arising in our work, and further improve our understanding and capability of studying the Party's history, comprehending thoughts, doing practical things and opening up new prospects. We should take persisting in Party history study and education as a new starting point, build consensus among SIG's executives and staff based on the major achievements and historical experience of the Party over the past century, boost our working enthusiasm, arouse our fighting spirit, and help SIG achieve new leaps in reform and development.

Third, consciously carrying forward the fighting spirit and persistently promoting the high-quality development of SIG

We should enhance our stance and serve the overall interests, implement the general principle of putting stability first and pursuing progress while ensuring stability set at the Central Economic Work Conference, draw wisdom and strengths from the Party's history, demonstrate the mission and responsibility of SIG during performing the "three tasks", enhancing the "four functions", building the "five cities" and pushing forward urban digital transformation. We should focus on key fields, make persistent efforts, keep advancing financial holding group building, deepen the function of the state-owned capital investment and operation platform, strengthen the development of the enterprise-wide risk management system, improve SIG's ability to prevent and dissolve major risks, fulfill the targets set in the "three-year action plan (2020-2022)", and propel SIG to make new progress in business operations and internal management.

Fourth, making good use of the outcomes of Party history study and education, and constantly improving the level of Party building

We should advance reform and development in parallel with Party building, uphold the Party's leadership and strengthen Party building throughout reform and development, and persistently advance the deep integration of Party building with corporate operation. We should enforce full and strict Party self-governance, ensure the fulfillment of the primary responsibility of the CPC Committee, the supervisory responsibility of the discipline inspection and supervision office, the responsibility of the Secretary of the CPC Committee as the first responsible person and the dual responsibilities of members of the leading body, and fulfill the responsibility of Party management and governance level by level. We should accelerate the building of a high-quality executive team, to improve the professional competence of talents and provide sustained talent support for the long-term development of SIG. We should improve the quality of grass-roots Party building, further strengthen classified guidance to grass-roots Party organizations, continue to deepen the development of featured Party branches, explore practical working carriers for Party building, and better leverage the leading role of Party building in promoting business development, uniting and serving the people.
