Since the current epidemic outbreak, SIG has resolutely implemented the decisions and plans of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the CPC Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission of the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SHSASAC), to advance epidemic prevention systematically and get business running. With the development of the epidemic, SIG has held several Party committee meetings and president meetings via video link, to listen to the work reports on epidemic prevention and control, business operations and investment disposal in the first quarter, deliberate on key work such as exempting micro and small enterprises from house rent, annual budgeting and final accounting, preventing and dissolving major risks, identifying risks in key fields and major investment projects, further redeploy the key work, unify thoughts, build consensus and strengthen execution.

The meeting required that the whole of SIG should give top priority to epidemic prevention and control at present, seriously implement the requirements and plans of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the CPC Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission of SHSASAC, attach great importance to epidemic prevention and control, and go all out to implement the work in a strict, tight, meticulous and practical manner. SIG's subsidiaries should fully leverage their key role, implement the work requirements of "early detection, early reporting, early isolation and early treatment", strengthen prevention and control measures, support and assist the city and localities in epidemic prevention, thereby contributing to the victory against the epidemic. SIG's Party organizations at all levels and all Party members should focus on the overall situation of Shanghai's fight against the epidemic, respond to the Open Letter of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee to All CPC Members in Shanghai and the Letter of the Organization Department of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee to All CPC Members in Shanghai, give play to the fortress role of Party branches and the exemplary and vanguard role of Party members, and assist communities in fighting the epidemic, so as to perform their original mission by action. The whole of SIG should care for the Party members and staff providing volunteer services, show great concern for SIG's frontline volunteers and conduct health management of them.

The meetings stressed that SIG should resolutely take on its responsibility and mission as a state-owned enterprise in the face of the epidemic, endeavor to overcome external uncertainties, focus on the set goals, never slacken its efforts on key business tasks such as active investment, state capital operation, industrial funds and strategic research, and advance all work in a vigorous and orderly manner. SIG should firmly establish risk awareness and strengthen risk prevention; should conduct overall planning of operation funds and ensure fund security; should make early preparation for full business resumption according to the changes of the epidemic situation, and play its stabilizing role as a state-owned enterprise through steady and orderly business management.

The meetings called on SIG to persist as Shanghai is drawing to the end of the battle against the epidemic, and perseverance means victory. According to the plans of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee, the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, the CPC Committee and Discipline Inspection Commission of SHSASAC, SIG should enhance its stance, vigorously implement prevention and control measures, coordinate epidemic control with business development, and demonstrate its strong sense of responsibility and mission, thus achieving quick and substantial results in the tough battle against the epidemic.
