Warming Hearts amid Fight against COVID-19: SIG's Leaders Extend Greetings Online to Frontline Staff on Duty

On April 23, Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors; Liu Xinyi, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and President of SIG; and Wu Jun, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee extended greetings via video link to the frontline staff on duty. Present were heads of the Department of Administration of SIG and the Office of the CPC SIG Committee.

The leaders talked to the frontline staff long on duty, inquiring about the situation of epidemic control, their daily work and life, and supplies support to them, finding out their needs, expectations and difficulties, and repeatedly asking them to stay healthy and safe while performing respective duties.

The leaders expressed thanks to the staff sticking to the frontline of epidemic control and production operation, speaking highly of their strong political awareness and sense of responsibility at the time when the epidemic situation was grim. They required that SIG's executives and staff should enhance their political stance, serve the overall interests, fulfill their duties, and play a pioneering role in epidemic prevention and control, so as to demonstrate the courage of staff of state-owned enterprises to assume responsibilities and fight tough battles. SIG should formulate emergency plans for epidemic prevention in work, production and operation places, increase care for frontline staff and their families, as well as staff of third-party service agencies, and endeavor to solve their practical difficulties and dispel their worries.

Inspired by the leaders' concern and greetings, the staff said they would remain committed to their duties, and work practically on epidemic control and corporate development, thereby making their due contributions to the sound development of SIG.

Previously the CPC Committee, Administrative Department and Labor Union of SIG had extended greetings to staff many times, delivering anti-epidemic supplies and living necessities to over 340 staff members on duty, young single staff members working in Shanghai away from home and needy staff members to warm their hearts amid the fight against the epidemic.
