After recently learning about the burning need of residents in Shanbei Community and other communities under Bund Sub-district, Huangpu District for vegetable packages, proposed by Chen Zhigang, Secretary of the Party Branch and Chairman of Shanghai SITICO Assets Management Co., Ltd. (SAM), SAM made an online decision on donation at the earliest possible time, requiring that suppliers' qualifications should be examined strictly, entrusting the sub-district to tighten control over the freshness of packaged vegetables and make timely deliveries to satisfy and reassure residents.

On April 22, after the staff and volunteers of Bund Sub-district worked half a day till 9:30 p.m., SAM delivered a total of 2,000 vegetable packages to residents in seven most needy community points. "Most recipients are residents in old communities, these packages contain a variety of fresh vegetables, as well as daily necessities like scallion, ginger and salt, they have just come in time and been well received by residents, we really appreciate the selfless support from SAM," said the deputy secretary of the Party Work Committee of Bund Sub-district who coordinated the donation.

At the next stage, SAM will continue to perform its social responsibility, demonstrate its special responsibility in the special period, and work with other sides to guard Shanghai, thereby contributing its tremendous strengths to the battle against the epidemic.
