On May 23, as required by the CPC SIG Committee, to study and implement Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, as well as the spirit of the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 19th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 11th CPC Shanghai Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection, and further advance the full and vigorous exercise of Party self-governance at SIG, SIG held the 2022 Conference on Full and Vigorous Exercise of Party Self-governance via video link.

Wu Jun, Vice Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee, reviewed the work of full and vigorous exercise of Party self-governance in 2021 and set forth work requirements for 2022. Since 2021, SIG's Party organizations at all levels have earnestly implemented the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the CPC Committee of the Shanghai Municipal State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission for the full and vigorous exercise of Party self-governance, thus achieving good work results, he said. Meanwhile, we should keep a sober mind, attach great importance to problems arising in the work, maintain the main tone of "vigor", and perseveringly exercise full and vigorous Party self-governance. First, we should earnestly study and implement Xi Jinping's thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and focus on coordinating epidemic control with business development; second, we should firmly implement the important decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee and the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee for the full and vigorous exercise of Party self-governance, hold the CPC SIG Congress and elect deputies to the 12th Shanghai Municipal CPC Congress; third, we should further deepen and refine the mechanism of "four-responsibility coordination", decompose and perform responsibilities, and transfer responsibilities level by level; fourth, we should persistently correct "four bad practices" and foster new healthy ethos, and in particular, discipline inspection organizations at all levels should keep strengthening supervision over epidemic prevention and control.

At the conference, Chen Zhenpeng, Member of the CPC SIG Committee and Director of the Organization Department, arranged the key work for the full and vigorous exercise of Party self-governance in 2022. Wu Jun, Vice Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission and Director of the Discipline Inspection and Supervision Office of SIG, conveyed the spirit of the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 19th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the 6th Plenary Meeting of the 11th CPC Shanghai Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection. Wang Jiong, Director of the Office of the CPC SIG Committee, reported work preparation for the CPC SIG Congress.

Present at the conference were heads of SIG's departments, the secretaries and vice secretaries of the CPC committees (branches) and secretaries of the discipline inspection commissions of SIG's subsidiaries, as well as relevant staff of the CPC offices and discipline inspection and supervision offices of SIG and its subsidiaries.
