In the evening of February 6, 2017, Asia Sustainability Report Awards, hosted by CSRWorks, an authority for Asian corporate social responsibility, were announced in Singapore. Among the hundreds of candidates from different countries in Asia, the Sustainability Report of CR Power stood out from the competition and was gifted with three awards, i.e., “Asia's Best Environmental Report Award,” “Asia's Most Transparent Report Award” and “Asia's Best Sustainability Report Award.”

The 2016 Sustainability Report of CR Power is the sustainability report prepared and published by CR Power for seven consecutive years. This Report is based on the latest international and domestic standards, such as Sustainability Reporting Guidelines (G4) of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), Guidelines on Corporate Social Responsibility. Reporting for Enterprises with Foreign Investment in China (CASS-CSR3.0) of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting Guide (HK-ESG) of Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which comprehensively and objectively reflects ideas, work and performance for CR Power to implement its economic, environmental and social responsibility. The reporting system discloses the continuous efforts and achievements of CR Power in renewable energy development, energy conservation and emission reduction, resource recycling and comprehensive utilization, ecological civilization construction, etc. Independent third parties were invited to authenticate the data on atmospheric emission indicators (sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, soot, etc.) disclosed in the report for two consecutive years, to enhance the transparency of information and respond more effectively to public concerns about the environmental impact of energy companies.

The Asia Sustainability Report Awards are one of the most prestigious awards for sustainability reporting concepts, capabilities, and performance. These awards are granted primarily to those companies, who are attractive, cohesive, transparent and trustworthy, and whose overall report excels in the social, environmental and economic issues of the business and also its stakeholders, reflects the strategic linkages between the organization's business objectives and its social and environmental goals, sustainability performance and the future plan. There are 16 categories of awards and CR Power has applied for six categories of awards, all of which were successfully selected. There are 7 short-listed companies in Hong Kong. CR Power is the only company with the most finalists and final number of awards.

The sustainability report has become an important platform and channel for effective communication between CR Power and various stakeholders and has received more and more attention and praise from home and abroad. The awards represent the high recognition of international social responsibility authority towards CR Power in the aspect of social responsibility, sustainable development work and report quality. CR Power will also continue to work closely with all stakeholders to implement corporate social responsibility and jointly make a positive contribution for the global sustainable development.
