Hu Min, the President of CR Power, met with a delegation led by Xu Donghai, the Deputy Mayor of Xuzhou City at China Resources Building in Hong Kong on May 31. During the meeting, both parties had a friendly talk to deepen the cooperation and reached a broad consensus.

President Hu Min extended his welcome to the delegation and thanked the great support of the government of Xuzhou City to the development of CR Power in Xuzhou all the time. President Hu pointed out that with several investment projects in Xuzhou, Xuzhou CR project was the first power plant of CR Power. A close relationship between CR Power and the local government over the years has produced excellent results in the cooperation between them. CR Power always devotes to fulfilling its social responsibility, actively carrying out various policies and requirements from the government of Xuzhou City and making great contribution to social and economic development and environmental protection of Xuzhou City. However, President Hu stated that it is expected that both parties will further enhance cooperation in emerging sectors, including waste disposal and biomass power generation.

Deputy Mayor Xu Donghai thanked CR Power for its long-term attention and support to the economic and social development of Xuzhou City. With excellent operation and management capability and being financially independent, CR Power’s green development philosophy well caters to the development trend of Xuzhou City. There is an enormous potential and great prospect for cooperation between both parties; it is expected that both parties shall, on the sound existing basis for collaboration, innovate the way of cooperation, and also expand the range of alliance and promote the progress of cooperation to achieve better responsive results, and for mutual benefit and win-win, Xu said.

Jiang Ming, the deputy secretary-general of the government of Xuzhou City, leaders from Xuzhou City and Fengxian County as well as relevant unit leaders of CR Power also attended at the meeting.
