Sixteen generator units of CR Power were honored as the National Prominent Thermal Power Generator Unit as shown in a list of 2017 National Prominent Thermal Power Generator Unit for 1000MW, 600MW, 300MW released by the China Electricity Council recently.

Prominent generator unit of each grade will be selected by the China Electricity Council every year after an integrated evaluation of the reliability index, economy index, technical monitoring index and environmental index of all thermal power generator units across the country. The purpose is to encourage the power generation companies to learn from each other’s strong points to offset one’s weakness, make innovation regularly and continue to promote the power generation companies to make progress in technology and maintain healthy development.

In this energy efficiency benchmarking and appraisal of national thermal power generator unit, 2 generator units of CR Power were honored as AAAAA grade, 4 as AAAA grade and 10 as AAA grade. Among them, AAAAA generator units are No.1 and No.2 generator units in Dengfeng Power Plant. Moreover, 17 papers written by staffs from Central China region of CR Power were awarded Excellent Paper, including DEH Analysis and Optimization of SAIC 1000MW Aultra-Supercritical Generator Unit.

This award has shown that the energy efficiency of the generator unit of CR Power remains good among the thermal power generation units nationwide. In the meantime, it will encourage CR Power to continue the innovation, learn from excellent generator unit and the advanced management experience and spare no efforts to improve the reliability of equipment and energy efficiency of generator unit, to make the breakthrough in performance and lead the industrial development.
