On July 11, Ge Changxin, the secretary of the Working Committee of China Resources Group Shanxi Region, the chief representative of CR Group in Shanxi, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Senior Vice President of CR Power paid an official visit to Geng Yanbo, the Mayor of Taiyuan City, in Taiyuan City of Shanxi Province to have a friendly discussion on the cooperation at present and in the future.

Mayor Geng Yanbo welcomed the visit of Vice Chairman Ge Changxin, saying that CR Power had an outstanding operation and management capability and good achievement had been made during the cooperation in various aspects with the government of Taiyuan City over the years, including resource exploitation, energy conservation and consumption reduction, and ecologic protection. The potential and prospect of the cooperation between both parties were tremendous as Taiyuan City was at the critical stage of upgrading at present and CR Power was also actively exploring road for future development. It was expected that both parties should continue to make innovation and expand the cooperation for win-win development on the present sound foundation of cooperation.

Vice Chairman Ge Changxin extended his thanks to the care and support of the government of Taiyuan City to China Resources all the time. After briefing about the business development of China Resources in Taiyuan, he emphatically detailed the achievements made in closing down outdated production facilities and promoting the enterprise upgrading and the future development plan as CR Coal actively responded to the call on supply-side restructuring by the state and Shanxi Province. Taiyuan City has abundant resources of minerals, wind, and light, and CR Power has certain benefits in the industry in operation, management, and production, Ge said. It is expected that both parties will further strengthen communication and exchange to proactively explore the way of cooperation in broader range and more profound level. CR Power will also continue to make contributions to the economic and social development and ecologic environment of Taiyuan City.
