On July 19, Li Ruge, member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of China Resources Group and Board Chairman of CR Power went to South China Region of CR Power for investigation.

At first, Chairman Li Ruge conducted a field survey of the main production areas such as the intelligent centralized control center, unit core operation platform, ash disposal & desulfurization system, environmental protection upgrading & transformation system, green wharf shore power as well as characteristic areas such as employee coffee bar, happy farm and activity room for Party members in thermal power plants of Guangzhou. He also learned the work conditions of equipment operation, solid waste disposal, safety management, business innovation and Party building etc., accepted the safe and well-organized modern production factory , sanitary and tidy factory environment, approved of the thermal power plants’ collaboration in conducting sludge mix-burning and solid waste recycling practice and other work in Guangzhou, and cited that power plants had advanced experience and played the leading role in business innovation of thermal power industry.

At the subsequent symposium, Chairman Li Ruge listened to the region work report made by Liu Qiuyang, the Deputy General Manager of South China region, learned the basic situation of the area, the 2018 general working idea and major future working acts, heard the key points, difficulties and challenges in business growth and the work report for development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, had informal discussions with leaders in charge of specific businesses and employee representatives, and gave guidance for everyone’ having complicated issues in business practices. However, Chairman Li highly appreciated the fact that South China region took active actions, forged ahead and did a series of fruitful work in the substantial business fields according to the different characteristics of affiliated enterprises by following the new economic development trend, closely following the market changes, constantly changing the thoughts and ideas in accordance with the general thought of electric power system reform and seeking innovation, changes and development.

According to the investigation result, Chairman Li Ruge emphasized that, first, CR Power should be brave and ambitious enough, have the sense of mission and strategic insight to seek business development, grasp the development opportunity, preempt high-quality resources, make proper integration and arrangement, enhance the local collaboration, plan the offshore wind power business in advance, do the preliminary work of the project well, and boost the long-term existence and development of the company; secondly, expand the industry chain and value chain and keep improving the value-creating ability and enterprise competitiveness based on the core businesses and innovation in business mode and key product; thirdly, take the initiative to adapt to the electric power system reform, study the electricity rationing policy, pay attention to changes in trading rules in the electricity market, promote business development, meanwhile, strengthen communication with government and power grid and create a good multi-win ecological environment by virtue of professional cooperation; fourth, pay close attention to the complex and changeable market environment, raise the lean level, achieve integrated management and improve the ability of risk resistance and management, prevention and control via internal control management, cost control, benchmarking management and standard system; fifth, strengthen the Party building and the construction of the team of Party members and cadres closely based on the central work of the Party committee and insist on the politics-oriented direction to strengthen the leadership of the Party, form a strong battle fortress and cultivate a staff team of a good style and excellent quality.
