On July 23, Li Ruge, member of the Party Committee and Chief Accountant of China Resources Group and Board Chairman of CR Power, granted interview of Phoenix TV at the 2017 Sustainable Development Report Conference of CR Power, answering questions such as achievements CR Power made in clean energy, transformation difficulties in the current power sector and CR Power’s following innovative development measures.

Chairman Li Ruge stated that CR Power had made excellent results in new energy development by improving organization & leadership, adjusting the organizational structure, perfecting the management system and optimizing resource allocation. In the future, the company would further maximize input and make overall arrangements in advanced wind-resource-rich areas to realize large-scale growth and effective utilization of new energy resources. Actively integrate the state’s development strategy for Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, make full use of the enterprise’s advantages based on new energy development, construction of smart cities,energy and distributed generation etc., vigorously develop offshore wind power, adhere to the innovation-driven principle, make the best out of internationally advanced technology and equipment to achieve the construction, operation and development of high-capacity offshore wind power, make more efforts in technical transformation of thermal energy to further minimize consumption and emission and enhance the operating efficiency, and earnestly develop the comprehensive utilization of hazardous wastes like garbage coupling power generation to achieve the green, cyclic and sustainable development of thermal power enterprises. Additionally, in consideration of difficulties in current transformation and upgrading of the power industry, Chairman Li cited his thoughts about optimizing the technology of connecting new energy to the power grid, perfecting the power market system and promoting the consumption of new energy.
