On the afternoon of August 16, Li Ruge, the Chief Accountant of China Resources Group and Board Chairman of CR Power, met with Tian Jinchen, the Vice Governor of Qinghai Province, in Hong Kong. Then, they held cordial discussion over further bolstering cooperation in power, gas, consumer goods, and other fields and reached a broad consensus.

Chairman Li Ruge extended welcome to Vice Governor Tian Jinchen’s team and thanked the Party Committee of Qinghai Province and the People’s Government of Qinghai Province for their long-term care and support. He also said that China Resources Group highly valued the new energy development in Qinghai and would actively and comprehensively participate in the construction of supporting projects of Qinghai Provincial Base for Extra-high Voltage Outward Transmission of Clean Energy and passionately promote the new energy industry layout in West and South Qinghai to fulfill its duties and play the role of a central government-led enterprise in the ecological and livelihood development of Qinghai Province.

Vice Governor Tian Jinchen said that the Party Committee of Qinghai Province and the People’s Government of Qinghai Province would closely combine the characteristics of the province, endeavor to find a development path complying with the practical conditions of Qinghai and strive to augment the construction of a rich, civilized, harmonious and beautiful new Qinghai. The Qinghai Extra-high Voltage Outward Transmission Project would help give a full play to Qinghai’s clean energy advantage, contribute to the transformation of energy advantage of Qinghai and be of a grand strategic significance for the “Belt and Road” and Development of West China, so he welcomed CR to Qinghai for cooperation negotiations and project cooperation. Meanwhile, Qinghai Province would provide coordination services and guarantees to support CR’s more significant development in Qinghai.

Feng Zhigang, the Deputy Secretary General of the People’s Government of Qinghai Province, and leaders of the Department of Commerce of Qinghai Province and Qinghai Province Administration for Industry etc., Ge Changxin, the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of CR Power as well as relevant leaders of the China Resources Group’s General Office, CR Enterprise, CR Gas, CR Vanguard and CR Ng Fung etc. attended the meeting.
