In September 8, 2018, the China Energy Industry Poverty Alleviation Summit was held in Beijing. Leaders from government authorities such as the State Council Leading Group Office of Poverty Alleviation and Development and the Development and Planning Office of National Energy Administration, representatives from energy companies such as Sinopec Group, representatives from local government authorities such as Poverty Alleviation and Development Office of Shanxi Province, and energy and high-tech enterprises attended the meeting. The 2018 China Energy Industry Poverty Alleviation Award Ceremony was held as part of the summit. CR Power was invited to the summit and was awarded the “Social Responsibility Award of China Energy Industry Poverty Alleviation”.

The 2018 China Energy Industry Poverty Alleviation Summit, hosted by a weekly publication Energy Development of China Reform Daily and Gofa Institute, on the theme of “Industry Poverty Alleviation and Shared Development”, clarified the issues "PV Poverty Alleviation Progress and Planning" and “Phased Results of Energy Industry Poverty Alleviation”, shared advanced cases of poverty alleviation, and held an oriented donation ceremony among enterprises and poverty-stricken areas. At the “Mission Guides the Honor and Responsibility Makes the Dream” 2018 China Energy Industry Poverty Alleviation Award Ceremony held that evening, 11 awards were granted to different winning entities, and CR Power was awarded the “Social Responsibility Award of China Energy Industry Poverty Alleviation”.

In recent years, by making good use of capital, management and talent advantages, implementing industry poverty alleviation, helping to develop featured agricultural, increment projects, and strengthening infrastructure construction. By taking part in China Resources Group's efforts in constructing hope towns in poverty-stricken areas, CR made corporate contributions to the goal of poverty alleviation, and made donations in the amount of up to 256 million yuan, whether in cash or in kind, in the past 5 years.
