On April 18, Sustainable Development Research Center (SMRC) of Hong Kong Polytechnic University, together with Hong Kong Council of Social Service and Hong Kong Productivity Council, released the third “Hong Kong Business Sustainability Index” (HKBSI).

From March 27 to March 28, 2018, National Electric Power Industrial Equipment Management Work Conference and the 6th Commendation Conference for National Electric Power Industrial Equipment Management and Innovation Achievement Awards took place at China People's Palace in Beijing (National Federation of Trade Unions), and several projects of CR Power were granted with National Electricity Industrial Equipment Management Innovation Achievement Award.

On March 26, CR Power held 2018 Work Conference in Chengdu, Sichuan, with the theme of “Thinking about Changes and Achieving Great Goal”.

On March 15, Hu Min, the President of CR Power, traveled to London on behalf of China Resources Consortium to host the equity delivery ceremony for the British Dudgeon Offshore Wind Power Project.

On the afternoon of March 19, CR Power held its 2017 Annual Results Announcement Conference on the 50th floor of China Resources Building in Hong Kong. More than 50 people comprising of investment bank analysts and fund company fund managers attended this conference.

On the morning of March 8, Li Bing, the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of Large Key State-Owned Enterprises of SASAC, went to Eastern China Region of CR Power to investigate the implementation of the spirit of the 19th Party Congress and the development of enterprises under the new situation.

The Inaugural Meeting and First Partner Meeting of Guangdong Runchuang New Energy Equity Investment Fund was held at Hotel Kapok Shenzhen Bay On the morning of February 5.

In the evening of February 6, 2017, Asia Sustainability Report Awards, hosted by CSRWorks, an authority for Asian corporate social responsibility, were announced in Singapore.

On January 4, at the beginning of the New Year, the Holding Company Office coordinated and jointly worked with the Information Management Department and the Central China Region to go to Luofu School of CR Hope Town in Jinggangshan, Jiangxi Province, and held the charity activity under the theme of “CR Power is with you to Welcome New Year”. CR Power donated laptops to the school, overhauled the school's power facilities, and brought an “Electricity Class” to the students.
